New rules focus on vehicles exported as used cars shortly after registration and strengthen documentation, after-sales and compliance requirements.
The Ministry of Commerce and other national departments issued measures intended to improve the order and quality of used-car exports.
For vehicles registered for 180 days or less, exporters are expected to provide additional after-sales service confirmation from the vehicle manufacturer, including vehicle information, destination market and overseas service arrangements.
The measures also reinforce checks for modified vehicles and encourage exporters to compete through quality, service and compliant overseas support rather than price alone.
